| Decision | Hawx Ground Support | VALSOLE Heavy Duty |
|---|---|---|
| Intended starting point | Hawx work boots; round-toe shape | Existing boots or shoes with removable liners and suitable space |
| Listed structure | Foam, molded arch shape and metatarsal pad | Firmer in-shoe support path; not the same pad specification |
| Fit evidence | Keep the boot and insert model together | No measured Hawx-model fit or thickness equivalence established |
Check the original liner before ordering
Remove the original liner only if the boot permits replacement. Note its full length, forefoot outline, heel width and where it rises around the arch. Compare the replacement chart with those requirements. A matching labeled shoe size cannot show whether the replacement will sit flat inside the boot.
Keep round-toe and other outlines separate
The linked Hawx insert specifically lists round toe. That is useful model information, not a reason to assume every Hawx boot or every Heavy Duty size has the same outline. If your boot requires a dedicated insert or its instructions restrict replacement, follow those requirements. This page does not authorize modifying a safety-critical boot setup.
What Heavy Duty can reasonably offer
It is the option to inspect when you want a firmer support feel rather than only a soft liner. Check room over the toes, heel hold and arch contact in your normal work socks. Do not stack inserts by default. No side-by-side dimensions or work-boot certification equivalence is supplied here; when direct original-part fit is essential, seek the correct manufacturer replacement.
Before you choose
Is Heavy Duty guaranteed to fit Hawx boots?
No. Fit must be checked for the actual boot, original liner and selected replacement size.
Does another insole preserve a boot’s safety rating?
This guide does not establish that. Follow the boot manufacturer and workplace requirements.
